Travel Planners International. April Partner of the Month: Carnival Cruise Line

ORLANDO, FL – Travel Planners International, a top travel host and sales, marketing and support agency for the travel professional, has started a new program – Partner of the Month. It’s a great example of how the organization strives to bring new initiatives and events to engage preferred partners with the TPI family.

Carnival Corporation & plc is the largest leisure travel company in the world, with a portfolio of 10 cruise brands in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia comprised of Carnival Cruise Line, Fathom, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, P&O Cruises (Australia) and P&O Cruises (UK).

Javier Yataco, Carnival Director of Business Development, said, “I have had the pleasure to work with TPI since 2006 when I came into the territory. The Gagliano’s have always pushed to evolve their model to get the best from their suppliers to support their agent network. It’s been impressive to see where they have taken TPI in those 11 years. I cannot wait to see where our partnership will go next, because we are in the same eco system together, their success is our success at Carnival Cruise Line.”

Carnival Corporation & plc also operates Holland America Princess Alaska Tours, the leading tour companies in Alaska and the Canadian Yukon.

“Carnival is our #1 supplier, largely due to the support we receive from their fantastic BDM. Carnival has a wide variety of itineraries and price points, with cruises from 2-14 days they have something for nearly every cruiser. GoCCL.com is a super easy to use booking site with easy access to everything you need to be a successful agent,” said A. Scott Asplund, owner of Plenty of Fun Travel.

The 133,500-ton Carnival Horizon is currently under construction and set to debut in 2018. The organization also has two new 180,000-ton ships are scheduled to enter service in 2020 and 2022.

Kirk Neal, Carnival Regional Vice President, said, “Home based agents, including those at TPI, have the unique advantage of being able to reach millions of cruise travelers that reside in communities across the country,” said Kirk Neal, Regional VP. “This type of clientele is so important to us at Carnival, but more than anything, working side by side with TPI agents to help them sell with success is something we value tremendously. We’re honored to call TPI our partners and very proud of TPI and the work their agents do.”
