TPI Partner of the Month: Excite Holidays

August 3rd, 2018 – Time is flying by because it’s time to announce our new Partner of the Month! This August, we’re excited to have Excite Holidays as Travel Planners International’s (TPI) Partner of the Month. For the next four weeks, our TPI agents will have Excite Holidays front and center as we’ll highlight them on all our agent-facing channels. They’ll be featured in places like our agent-only portal, email signatures, and a private Facebook Live broadcasted to over 2,000 agents.

Why Them?

Here at TPI, we’re always looking for the next big thing (or in this case, supplier) that will aide our agents in closing the sale or just simplifying their life. Excite Holidays, an Australian-based tour company, definitely fit the bill. Thanks to their expansive inventory, friendly customer service, and the ability to set your own commission, they instantly became a Preferred Supplier with us once they hit the U.S. market.

“After a successful launch into the U.S. in late 2017, we are thrilled with how agents have embraced our booking platform,” said Samantha Davies, Director of Sales North America, Excite Holidays. “We’ve proudly partnered with TPI since day one and look forward to continuing to support an incredible network of passionate and dedicated agents.”

While there were a few months of getting used to an Australian tour company – believe us, there isa difference – Excite Holidays soon became a fan-favorite. Since they became a Preferred Supplier in late 2017, our TPI agents have made over $139,700 in sales for the tour company.

“I love working with Excite Holidays because of the attention they pay to agents [like myself] in helping them get what they need for their customers,” said Kevin Ackerman, TPI agent and owner of Foreign Local Travel. “They have an incredible array of options to make any trip a unique experience.”

Marisabel Marty, Business Development Manager at TPI, echoes Ackerman’s opinion.

“[Excite Holidays] provides one-on-one trainings to the agents and goes above and beyond to assist agents in providing an excellent experience to their clients,” said Marty. “Plus, they have an expansive inventory. You’ll find tours and shore excursions you won’t see elsewhere.”

Good on ya, mates!
