Some of La Colección Resorts’ most iconic family-friendly beach resorts are offering unique experiences that will interest a range of kids, from the budding junior foodie to the fearless explorer. The variety of activities are being offered at the following resorts:

 

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun All Inclusive Spa Resort

 

• Easter Sunday – On April 4, young guests can explore the resort’s state-of-the-art Coral KidZ Club and participate in hands-on arts and crafts activities with Easter themes. Throughout each day, KidZ Club staff will lead fun-filled classes where kids decorate Easter eggs and holiday cookies, as well as create their own candy basket, which will then be used to collect hidden eggs on a resort-wide Easter egg hunt.
• Cooking classes: Children and parents can enjoy a bonding experience through food Wednesday and Saturdays from 1 – 2 p.m. The cooking class, guided by the resort’s Chef, will allow parents and their kids to learn how to prepare traditional Mexican guacamole, select toppings for their favorite pizzas, decorate cookies together and much more.
• Night Camp: While mom and dad enjoy a romantic dinner together or a decadent treatment at the Gem Spa, the resorts youngest guests (six – 12 years old) will enjoy a night camp on the beach featuring storytelling, Muppet shows and dinner at the KidZ club dining area. Available Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays from 7 – 10 p.m.

• Fiesta Kids club will offer weekly activities for kids all day long from 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Experiences range from feeding fish and iguanas to sports like water polo, soccer and even dart tournaments. Kids can also participate in water balloon fights, and get creative building sandcastles, making slime, painting and crafting. Fiesta Kids also offers video games and movie nights.

Fiesta Americana Acapulco Villas

 

• Fiesta Kids Club offers a supervised activities program for kids between four and 12 years old. Some of the activities and games available include puzzles, dominoes, movie nights, and arts and craft projects that let kids build their own bracelets, create glitter drawings and more. Fiesta Kids is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

 

Due to COVID safety reasons and in addition to La Colección Resorts’ Travel With Confidence safety, hygiene, and flexibility protocols, the use of face masks is required for guests two years old and older and all children will receive a temperature check and be asked to wash their hands before starting their activities. Reservations are mandatory beforehand in order to allow for reduced capacity in common areas and to keep safe social distance.
