The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa Welcomes Lourdes Sanchez as Marketing Manager

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands – (September 24, 2025) – The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa announces the appointment of Lourdes Sanchez as Marketing Manager. In her role, she will lead all marketing initiatives for the award-winning resort, developing and executing innovative strategies to further elevate the property’s brand and guest experience.

Sanchez brings over seven years of hospitality marketing experience to The Westin Grand Cayman. She began her career at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort as a server in 2015 and rose through the ranks to become the Marketing and Event Development Manager in 2022, where she specialized in brand storytelling, digital campaigns, and event activations. During her tenure, Sanchez led impactful initiatives for the resort, including the rebranding of signature concepts, enhancing the property’s social media presence, and creating innovative food and beverage events that drove meaningful revenue. In 2021, She stepped up to act as Marketing Manager in the wake of the global coronavirus pandemic, when borders were closed to travelers, and played a key role in engaging the local market through targeted marketing initiatives. These efforts generated over $1.6 million in food and beverage revenue that year. With a proven track record of driving results through both creativity and strategy, Sanchez is well-positioned to bring fresh vision and expertise to The Westin Grand Cayman.

“I am thrilled to begin this new chapter with The Westin Grand Cayman, a resort celebrated for its exceptional service and unforgettable luxurious experiences on Seven Mile Beach. Having grown my career in the Cayman Islands, I look forward to bringing my passion for creative marketing and meaningful guest connections to this dynamic team and contributing to the continued success of such an iconic property,” said Sanchez.

“Lourdes’ impressive background in hospitality marketing, creativity, and proven ability to deliver results make her an invaluable addition to our team,” said Jay Marsella, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Westin Grand Cayman. “We are delighted to welcome her, and I am confident her expertise and passion will further strengthen our efforts to showcase the resort as one of the premier destinations in the Caribbean.”
