The Travel Institute Releases First Quarter Training Schedule

Taxes, Mexico, river cruises, and the digital age get top billing

 

 

FRAMINGHAM, MA, January 4, 2018 – From understanding the new tax laws and discovering Mexico’s hidden gems to earning top river cruise commissions and inspiring clients in a digital age, The Travel Institute’s lineup of first quarter webinars is diverse and extremely relevant to a travel agent’s livelihood and success in the new year.

 

“We know how strapped travel agents are for time, especially during these next few months of 2018,” said Guida Botelho, CTA, director of training for The Travel Institute. “So it’s with a lot of due diligence that we build our webinar offerings to make sure they’re truly meeting the needs of today’s entrepreneur and business-minded travel professional.”

  • February 5, 1:00 p.m. – “7 Rockstar Tips to Begin Leveraging Top Commissions in the River Cruise Niche” by Trish Gastineau, CTC, European Travel Specialists
  • February 7, 2:30 p.m. – “You Hired A New Person, Now What?” with Guida Botelho, CTA, The Travel Institute
  • February 14, 1:00 p.m. – “Honeymoons & Destination Weddings – The Foundation for a Lifetime Client” with Lisa Sheldon, CTC, Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA)
  • March 13, 1:00 p.m. – “Inspiring Your Clients in a Digital Age” with Richard D’Ambrosio, Hudson Valley Communications

 

All webinars are EST and most are free or $19.99 for non-members. CTAs, CTCs, and CTIEs earn two CEUs per webinar. In addition, four to six webinars are conducted each month by The Travel Institute staff that focus on certification, specialization, career planning, and more.
