Stay22 Unveils New Map Button to Enhance Direct Bookings

The new feature boosts conversion by 50%, quadruples engagement, speeds up mobile bookings, streamlines the process, and unlocks new monetization for Stay22 partners.

Montreal (April 3rd, 2025) – Stay22 has taken one step further in its efforts to enhance the booking process through its software. The travel tech company based in Montreal (Canada) has introduced a new button to its map, which makes bookings for accommodations, events and other travel experiences faster and simpler.

The preliminary results of this new feature are promising: the engagement rate of users is higher with four times more clicks than the old map without the button as it is possible to explore and book accommodations and events with just one tap. The new Map button makes it easier to complete bookings, especially on mobile devices, where the conversion rate has increased by over 50%. The Map button optimizes the booking process through mobile devices and has become the top feature, driving 85% of clicks on those devices compared to 41% on desktop.

“As more people use their mobile phones to book their trips and experiences, the Map button is about creating a smoother and more intuitive experience while keeping the booking process simple on mobile screens” – explains Lucille Pickering, Enterprise Partnership Lead at Stay22. “Making the booking journey easier also means a higher conversion rate and greater revenue potential for our partners. The new feature is especially helpful for event businesses by streamlining how attendees find and book stays.”

“We are constantly looking for ways to simplify travel planning without sacrificing performance,” says Jeff Goodman, Enterprise Partnership Lead at Stay22. “The new Map button reflects our commitment to building tools that are both user-friendly and revenue focused. By putting smarter design into our partners’ hands, we help them better serve their audiences—and unlock new monetization opportunities in the process.”

Stay22 offers affiliate revenue generation opportunities for travel bloggers and media through its AI-powered software tools. The travel tech company is committed to innovation with the improvement of current products and the launch of new tools.

Stay22 was founded in 2016 and is based in Montreal, Canada. The company uses artificial intelligence and innovative machine learning technology to connect online travel content creators such as bloggers and media publications seamlessly with the affiliate marketing programs of travel sellers. These mutually beneficial relations generate hard-to-reach, incremental and high-margin bookings for travel sellers like Booking and Expedia, whilst also allowing travel bloggers and media publications providers to monetize their content with minimal effort. In 2024, Stay22 reached a Gross Merchandise Value of $500 million and revenues of $25 millions, while it helped monetize 182,000 pages across the web, which got 1.5 billion views.
