Space Still Available for Windstar’s 2026 Spanish Mystery Cruise
The cruise begins in Barcelona, surrounded by Gaudí’s masterpieces and Mediterranean energy, then sails Spain’s storied coast to ports that may be entirely new to Windstar before concluding in Málaga, where Andalusian flavors and Moorish history provide a memorable farewell. Onboard, passengers are given a clue to the identity of each port some 36 hours before the visit. A special discovery event — a signature Windstar experience – will also be offered.
“One thing I’ve learned about our guests is they’re wonderfully comfortable with the unexpected. They don’t just want to revisit the places everyone knows. They love the thrill of discovering somewhere new,” says Chris Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises. “That’s exactly why these Mystery Cruises have struck such a chord. Our first sailing in the Mediterranean was one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve ever hosted, and the Caribbean edition sold out just as quickly. So it felt only natural to keep the mystery alive. There are still plenty of remarkable places waiting to surprise us, and that’s half the fun.”
Some of the ports visited on past Mystery Cruises have been added to future Windstar itineraries.
In addition to the 2026 Spanish Mystery Cruise, Windstar has announced two additional Mystery Cruises:
How Does This Sailing Benefit Advisors?
The Windstar Mystery Cruises are a truly unique experience and one that travelers who have a passion for adventure and love a surprise will embrace.
For advisors, the More Reasons to Say Yes offer creates a timely reason to showcase this unique sailing with clients. The offer is easy to explain and easy to sell: more than $1,300 in complimentary All-Inclusive value for two on a 7-night voyage, a reduced $300 per stateroom deposit and added savings for Yacht Club Members on select voyages sailing through the end of 2027.
Just as important, Windstar gives advisors a product with a story behind the savings. The intimate Star Legend holds just 312 guests, and this is a destination-rich itinerary for intrepid travelers who are open to spontaneity and exploring something new. Onboard, guests enjoy extraordinary culinary programming as Windstar is the Official Cruise Line of the James Beard Foundation. These deeper immersions help advisors move the conversation beyond price and into experience — the kind of personal, memorable yacht voyage clients are more likely to say yes to.
