LOS CABOS, Mexico (August 12, 2019) – Solmar Hotels & Resorts, the collection of seven all-suite properties in Los Cabos, has expanded their food & beverage offering at their newest property, Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort Golf & Spa, with a new beachfront adults-only pool & Sunset Bar. With the collection’s Summer Fall Sale applying to bookings until August 31^st, for travel up to September 30^th, 2019, guests won’t be able to resist taking a look at this new offering in person.

 

Located in front of the property’s signature restaurant, Anica, the adults-only pool was aptly named ‘Sunset Pool’, as it boasts unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and Los Cabos’ iconic cotton candy sunsets. From pre-dinner cocktails to poolside afternoon snacks, the Sunset Bar now serves at the property’s most scenic vantage point when wanting to dine with a breathtaking backdrop.

Adults dining at the Sunset Bar have the option of picking from dishes in the Infinity Pool Menu, like Buffalo and BBQ wings, pizzas, and seafood specialties, as well as dishes from the restaurant’s signature sushi menu. Executive Sous Chef Ricardo Cordova crafted the menu featuring many of the native fish varieties known to Los Cabos. Menu options include: the spicy shrimp roll, made with nori seaweed, avocado, kanikama, avocado, and topped with spicy shrimp, the rainbow roll made with avocado and cucumber, covered with tuna, sea bass, and salmon. As an adult perk, guests will be able to enjoy an assorted beverage menu at the bar, but can also choose from an expert selection of wines by the bottle, crafted by the sommelier on property. The Sunset bar will also offer a daily 2 for 1 cocktail special, varying per day of the week.

 

Guests seeking a peaceful day outside can head straight to the Sunset Pool, where they’ll be welcomed by smooth jazz music spearheading the calm ambiance. Four private cabanas are set beside the Sunset bar and are available for guests with a minimum consumption of USD $100. Eight in-pool chaises surround the pool’s perimeter, perfect for guests who want a flawless blend of sun and fun in the water. Besides the Sunset Pool, the Sunset Bar is also exclusive to adults. Children interested in the signature sushi menu will have orders accepted and delivered to their desired location.
