Sky Vacations Unveils Its Much-Awaited Small Group Journeys

New York, NY: June 23, 2025 – Sky Vacations, one of North America’s leading tour operators, announced today the launch of its highly anticipated ‘Small Group Journeys’, a thoughtfully curated collection of immersive travel experiences designed for those who enjoy sharing the journey with others.

With a maximum of just 20 guests per departure, these journeys offer a blend enriching local interaction, comprehensive sightseeing and seamless logistics. Each itinerary reflects the spirit of the destination blending iconic landmarks with hidden gems that make every journey truly unforgettable.

“Our goal with the Small Group Journeys was simple,” says Richard Krieger, Director of Sky Vacations. “We wanted to design experiences that feel as rewarding as private travel, but with the added richness of sharing moments with a small group of fellow travelers. Each itinerary is a story waiting to unfold—personal, purposeful, and profoundly memorable.”

Among the featured programs are journeys through the vibrant souks and Sahara landscapes of Morocco, the rhythms and colors of Cuba, the awe-inspiring wonders of Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan, and the sensory tapestry of India’s Golden Triangle. Travelers can also explore the stunning coastline of Croatia, the wild beauty of South Africa, and the natural grandeur of Victoria Falls. More destinations are scheduled to be added, including Turkiye, Italy, Greece, Portugal and Egypt. Each program is a finely tuned balance of activities, cultural engagement, and time to explore independently.

Sky Vacations’ Small Group Journeys are crafted for the culturally curious traveler who values quality over quantity and experiences over checklists. “These programs are for travelers who want to feel the heartbeat of a destination—not just admire it from a distance,” adds Krieger. “It’s about waking up somewhere extraordinary, sharing meals prepared by real families, and discovering the kind of travel magic that can only happen in small numbers.”

Departures are scheduled beginning the end of 2025 and throughout 2026. They’re ideal for solo travelers, couples, and groups of friends and family who want to explore the world together – but without a large group.
