Scenic Eclipse Sails in on Wave Season With Several Great Offers

Boston, January 8th, 2018 – The Scenic Eclipse is one of the most anticipated luxury yachts in many years – and is expected to turn heads when it launches in April 2019. In celebration of the arrival of the world’s first Discovery Yacht, Scenic has announced several specials available during the Wave Season. Guests booking any April 2019 through Aug 2020 departure by Feb. 28, 2019 will enjoy complimentary private roundtrip transfers between their home and the airport; free deposit protection coverage; and up to $500 per person on board credit. Guests booking any 2019 North American voyage will also enjoy a free two-night hotel stay in New York City. As sales have been brisk for the 228-guest luxury yacht, it is advised that travel agents and consumers book early.

Fares for the Scenic Eclipse are truly all-inclusive, covering every aspect of the cruise, excepting massages and hair dresser services, and use of the ship’s helicopters and submarine. All meals in any of the nine restaurants or 24-hour room service, all excursions, all drinks at any of the eight spacious lounges and bars and in room mini-bar, butler service, gratuities, lectures from onboard experts, airport transfers, etc. – all included.

Guests looking to extend their dream vacations can choose from a variety of Scenic’s new Escorted Land Journeys that add multi-day land tours to cruises. These land adventures, with no more than 20 guests, are fully escorted by experienced tour directors and include hotel accommodations, some meals, all tours with local guides, tipping and more.

The ship has 114 all-verandah suites range in size from 345 ft² to 2,659 ft²; 10 dining options – from Asian Fusion to French fine dining to a chef’s table to a poolside buffet; a 5,920 ft² spa with a well-equipped gym and separate yoga and Pilates studio; two six-guest helicopters and one six-guest submarine capable of depths of nearly 1,000 feet — to allow for explorations far beyond any done on expedition ships to date; a 240-seat theater for entertainment and lectures; indoor and outdoor plunge pools; butler service for all guests; and an almost 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio.

And then there is the technology: innovative zero-speed stabilizer fins, 50% larger than standard to provide greater stability; the highest passenger ship ice class rating – Polar Class 6 (Ice Class 1A Super); redundancies in propulsion, navigation, safety systems and food refrigeration; state-of-the-art bridge systems; and a GPS dynamic positioning system allowing for stationary positioning without an anchor, reducing any environmental affect in sensitive regions.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has grown over its 31-year history to include award-winning, all-inclusive escorted tours that take participants to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations and, since 2008, truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe, SE Asia, Russia and Egypt on its 15 Space-Ships. In 2019, Scenic is introducing the world’s first Discovery Yacht, the 228-guest Scenic Eclipse, and a sister ship to launch in 2020. Sister brand Emerald Waterways has seven Star-Ships offering European river sailings with an eighth (Emerald Harmony) launching in 2019 for SE Asia’s Mekong River. Exclusive charters are offered on SE Asia’s Irrawaddy River; the Volga River in Russia; yacht cruises out of Croatia; and Egypt’s Nile River.

Additional information on these and other cruises, brochures and reservations can be obtained via travel agents or www.scenicusa.com; phone 844-788-7985; or email: info@scenicusa.com. Brochures can also be downloaded directly from the website.
