Scenic Celebrates “Best New Luxury Ship” Award with Special Offers for Scenic Eclipse

Boston, MA, December 2019 – The world’s “Best New Luxury Ship”, according to Cruise Critic Editors*, is celebrating this prestigious award with some great Scenic Eclipse USA-market specials, just in time for the holiday shopping season. In addition to Earlybird Savings of up to $6,950 per person, double occupancy, and complimentary Deposit Protection, guests can now also enjoy business class flight upgrades for only $1,995, a 50% off single supplement, or free economy air. The offers vary by itinerary and are available on select departures. Bookings on these select departures must be made by January 6, 2020 and are subject to availability.

Comments from the Cruise Critic judges in awarding Scenic Eclipse the top prize included the following, “Cruisers might book Scenic Eclipse because it’s equipped with two helicopters and a six-person submarine, but they’ll come back because of the 228-passenger ship’s chic design, generously sized suites and incredible dining offerings. Australian company Scenic pulled out all the stops with its first ocean ship, which seamlessly combines luxury and soft-adventure travel to exotic destinations, including the Arctic and Antarctica.”

Itineraries that are offering business class upgrades are: 13-day Antarctica in Depth and 20-day Antarctica, South Georgia & Falkland Islands (select departures); 12-day Great Seafaring Nations, that travels from Barcelona to Amsterdam while exploring Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium; 12-day Iceland & Greenland Explorer, where guests take in Greenland’s unspoiled wilderness and Iceland’s history. Free economy air or a $750 per person credit is offered on the 11-day Coastal Adventure, sailing between Costa Rica and Peru; and the 15-day Wild Alaska & British Columbia, when Scenic Eclipse explores the wilds of Alaska and the west coast of Canada.

Scenic Eclipse has set a new benchmark in luxury expedition ocean cruising suites with 114 luxurious suites across five decks, a sumptuous 5,920ft2 spa sanctuary, 10 dining experiences, butler service to every suite, a staff to guest ratio of 1:1, and two on board helicopters and a submarine offering truly unique discovery experiences.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has grown over its 33-year history to include award-winning, all-inclusive river cruises and handcrafted land tours that take participants to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations. Since 2008, Scenic has offered river cruises in Europe, SE Asia, Russia and Egypt on its 15 Space-Ships. Sister brand Emerald Waterways has eight Star-Ships offering European river sailings and, new this year, Southeast Asia’s Mekong River.
