Scenic and Emerald Cruises Announce Solo Traveler Savings – Steep Reductions of Single Supplement Fares

Single Supplement as low as 25% on select 2023/24 European Rivers

Hollywood, FL, March 2023 – Scenic and Emerald Cruises have announced a great savings event for solo travelers. Going solo with either brand is akin to traveling with a bunch of new friends, as the smaller and more intimate ships make it easy to mingle and meet new people. Emerald Cruises and Scenic are offering 25% Single Supplements on dozens of their luxury river departures in Europe and SE Asia and luxury ocean sailings that span the world during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Booking deadlines are based on space availability and payment in full is required 12 months or more before departure – or within 72 hours when within 12 months. These fares are not combinable with other savings offers except future travel credits.

Example sailings for Emerald Cruises include the sure-to-relax-and-meet-people, eight-day Grenadines & Grenada Adventure, sailing round trip out of Bridgetown, Barbados. This sailing on the 100-guest luxury Emerald Azzurra calls on ports that the bigger cruise ships can’t access like Chatham Bay on Union Island where guests can snorkel along the pristine beaches, and Hillsborough on the small, rural island of Carriacou. Solo traveler fares start at $5,773, with one departure each in Nov. and Dec. 2023. On the rivers, guests traveling on their own will certainly find camaraderie on Emerald Cruises eight-day Danube Delights – one of the line’s most popular itineraries. Sailing between Munich and Budapest, the sailing offers an opportunity to explore the past and present simultaneously, from the cobblestone streets of small, ancient villages to the modern capital cities of Austria and Hungary. Season-long departures have single supplement fares starting at $4,169.

Among the many Scenic itineraries available with the single supplement savings offer is the line’s eight-day Gems of the Danube river cruise. Sailing between Budapest and Nuremburg, the truly all-inclusive fare means choosing between a variety of daily excursions – from sampling beer at one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world (Weltenburg Abbey) to visiting the birthplace of Mozart and backdrop for the Sound of Music (Salzburg) to enjoying a guided e-bike ride between Melk to Dürnstein. All part of the experience that forms lasting friendships. Special single supplemental fares start at $5,884. For those more interested in the glamour of ultra-luxury yachts, Scenic Eclipseguests can enjoy a slew of Caribbean sunsets on the nine-day Turks & Caicos Islands to Jamaicasailing, departing Nassau on Oct 23, 2023. Guests are invited to mingle while enjoying glass-bottom kayaks in the mangroves and the small caves of Providenciales, beholding the site of 80,000 West Indian flamingos take flight on Little Inagua Island, and ambling down Port Antonio’s Great River on a bamboo raft. Fares for single travelers start at $11,421.

Scenic Group, which includes Emerald Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Mayflower Cruises & Tours, and Evergreen Tours, has grown over its 37-year history to include award-winning, river and ocean cruises and handcrafted land journeys that take guests to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations covering all seven continents. Since 2008, Scenic has set the benchmark for truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2019, Scenic introduced Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht™, a 228-guest ultra-luxury ship, and plans to deliver a second yacht of the same category, Scenic Eclipse II, in 2023. Emerald Cruises has nine branded Star-Ships offering river sailings in Europe and on the Mekong. In March 2022, Emerald Azzurra was the first yacht to launch under the Emerald Cruises brand – a 100-guest superyacht that sails the warm waters of the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Caribbean, followed in 2023 by its sister, Emerald Sakara.
