Riviera Travel Announces Immersive New 15-Day Grand Tour Itinerary

Grand Tour: A Taste of Italy & The Blue Danube Cruise Now Open for 2027 Bookings

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – (December 8, 2025) –  Riviera Travel, the leader in ultra-premium river cruise, ocean yachts, and land global travel for more than 40 years, today announced the expansion of its Grand Tour collection with the new Grand Tour: A Taste of Italy & The Blue Danube Cruise. Introduced earlier this year, the Grand Tour collection elevates the traditional touring experience, seamlessly combining culturally inviting land journeys with ultra-premium river cruising. The immersive itineraries – including the brand’s newest voyage through one of the most legendary river cruise regions, beginning in 2027 –   let travelers explore multiple countries and regions in a single, expertly curated itinerary.

“Travelers today want to experience the best of Europe without the hassle of planning multiple trips, and our Grand Tours create a smooth, seamless way to do just that,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “Our newest Grand Tour itinerary will inspire our guests with southern Italy’s charm and the cultural treasures of the Blue Danube, helping them create two weeks of absolutely unforgettable memories.”

Grand Tour: A Taste of Italy & The Blue Danube Cruise: This 15-day, 14-night itinerary begins with a land tour in sun-drenched southern Italy, where guests will explore the baroque beauty of Lecce, wander through the whimsical trulli houses of Alberobello, and discover the ancient cave dwellings of Matera. Travelers will stroll the historic streets of Bari and Otranto, enjoy a traditional lunch at a family-run masseria, and soak in the coastal charm of Italy’s southern towns. Guests will enjoy seven nights in four-star, hand-picked hotels, enjoying fully guided land experiences that bring Italy’s culture, cuisine and history to life. Next, guests will board Riviera Travel’s five-star MS Geoffrey Chaucer or MS Riviera Radiance for a scenic seven-night cruise along the iconic Blue Danube. The cruise includes an all-inclusive drinks package and guided excursions to Bratislava’s charming old town, Dürnstein’s blue tower, Melk Abbey, Vienna’s cultural treasures, and Budapest’s historic Castle Hill. Evenings onboard feature entertainment such as a classical quartet recital in Vienna and a spirited Hungarian folklore show in Budapest, creating the perfect blend of culture, comfort, and elegance.

A Taste of Italy & The Blue Danube joins Riviera Travel’s growing collection of Grand Tour options. These include the Grand Tour of the Italian Lakes, Swiss Mountains & River Rhine Cruise, where travelers journey from Lake Como and Lucerne to a scenic Rhine sailing; the Grand Tour of France: Provence, Paris & River Seine Cruise, which combines the lavender fields and hilltop villages of Provence with Parisian elegance and a Seine River voyage; and the Grand Tour of the Heart of Italy to Portugal’s Douro River Cruise, seamlessly linking cultural discoveries in Tuscany, Rome, and Florence with a sailing through Portugal’s vineyard-lined Douro Valley.

Riviera Travel’s Grand Tours exemplify the company’s commitment to elevated, immersive experiences that connect travelers with Europe’s most iconic destinations. The company is renowned for its elegant fleet, attentive service, five-star dining, and an all-inclusive beverage package.
