Posadas Resuming Operations at Resorts in Quintana Roo

Cancun, Mexico (October 7, 2020) – While Hurricane Delta quickly makes its way across Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Posadas is pleased to report that there has been no considerable damage to any of its resorts in Quintana Roo, and plans are underway to resume operations shortly. Guests are also on their way to return to the resorts from the local shelters after receiving clearance by the local authorities. Hurricane-like conditions have already minimized with weather expected to subside by late Wednesday evening.

 

To ensure that guests are minimally affected by flight delays and cancellations due to Hurricane Delta, the hotels have the following options available:

 

• For arriving guests whom their flight is cancelled due to this storm, they will be able to cancel entire stay with no charge.
• Based on availability, guests will be able to reschedule their trip for future dates within same travel year. Hotel will honor same original rate.
• If trip is rescheduled for a following year, hotel reserves the right to quote a new rate.
• New booking dates are always subject to availability.
• Guests unable to depart from our destination due to flight cancellations will be able to extend their stay at highly discounted rates.
