Peter Greenberg Goes Behind The Scenes Of Crystal Serenity Redesign

MIAMI, March 7, 2019 – Veteran travel expert and broadcaster Peter Greenberg has released a preview of his upcoming The Travel Detective special starring Crystal Serenity, now available to view on his website. The full piece, which will air on PBS at a later date, goes into comprehensive detail about the award-winning ship’s 2018 dry dock redesign, taking viewers behind the scenes of the complex refurbishment, which began in Lisbon on October 14 as Crystal Serenity made her way to the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany. The preview features interviews with Tom Wolber, Crystal’s president & CEO, and various members of the dry dock team, as well as footage of the extensive work that was completed during the renovation. The preview piece concludes with reactions of some of the first guests to board the ship in Lisbon on November 10, 2018.

Following the most significant redesign in Crystal Serenity’s history, the ship boasts new dining options and open-seating dining; new spacious, butler-serviced Seabreeze Penthouse and Seabreeze Penthouse Suite accommodations; redesigned lounge and entertainment venues including the Stardust Club and Palm Court; a new production show called Crystal on Broadway, The Show; and new interactive technological amenities.
