PATH (Professional Association of Travel Hosts) Announces Hurricane Relief Donation
San Jose, CA September 28. 2017 – PATH announced today a donation of $5000.00 dollars to support the work being carried out by The ID (Island Destinations) Travel Group Foundation to assist in the recovery from Hurricane Irma and Maria.
“Thousands of families in the islands have been displaced or impacted by Hurricane Irma and we are grateful to be able to provide financial support to aid in emergency relief services,” said Anita Pagliasso, President of PATH. “Our hearts are with the people of the islands who have been severely impacted and truly hope this will show our support.”
“The situations are dire and with the additional hurricane catastrophes that have impacted these destinations, the need for assistance has intensified greatly. The ID Travel Group is delighted to match this generous donation of $5,000 from the members of PATH, and are so grateful for the outpouring of support from the travel community. The funds will immediately go to St. Barths, Anguilla, and the B.V.I in the form of generators, tarps and solar lanterns. These specific essentials continue to be assessed daily by the Foundation and every dollar makes a difference!” replied Mr. Maurice Bonham-Carter, President & CEO, ID Travel Group ( https://www.idtravelfoundation.org/)
