Panama to Host First-Ever Experience Panama Expo

In time to celebrate World Tourism Day, Panama will host its first-ever Experience Panama Expo providing international buyers the opportunity to learn about Panama’s new vision of tourism and experience the country’s natural, cultural and historical heritage from the comfort of their home.

The virtual fair, being held from September 25-27, 2020, is the perfect opportunity for international markets to connect with more than 200 local exhibitors — from destination marketing companies to tourism operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels and resorts and more.  The Experience Panama Expo is aimed at showcasing Panama’s wide variety of tourism offerings that include: nature, Pacific and Atlantic beaches, adventures, culture, the cosmopolitan city, shopping, convention centers and more.

Over 600 international professionals are expected to attend from the U.S., Portugal, Spain, Germany, the UK and other nations from the Latin American region. Participants will be able to access exclusive online events, including but not limited to: a virtual meeting with the Ministers of Tourism of Central America and the Dominican Republic, conferences with national and international experts, sustainable tourism workshops, specialized forums, and digital networking.

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) in strategic collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), PROMTUR Panama, the National Chamber of Tourism of Panama (CAMTUR) and the Panamanian Association of Hotels (APATEL), the expo is an essential next step for the economic reactivation of Panama’s tourism sector.
