Pacific Storytelling Announces New Partnership Program

Los Angeles, December 15, 2020 – Since the beginning of the pandemic, Pacific Storytelling has enjoyed bringing the South Pacific closer to the North American travel market. The company introduced a free cultural sensitivity training program, interviews with leading cultural experts and a place to share news and accomplishments of indigenous people.

Due to the enthusiastic response from the travel industry, Pacific Storytelling now expands their range of services to include in-country partners with a new Destination Partners Program. This new initiative aims to enable positive economic impact on local communities through conscious decision making when purchasing travel. “We are excited to join with local partners who are committed to the pursuit of creating awareness and understanding of the South Pacific in the promotion of travel and tourism,” says Pacific Storytelling founder Renata West.

Pacific Storytelling are also thrilled to announce their first Destination Partner as French Polynesia destination management company Tahiti Islands Travel, which was founded in 2015. Locally owned and operated, Tahiti Islands Travel are true to their Polynesian roots and we look forward to collaborating with them to grow local communities, recognize indigenous cultures and to protect the beautiful natural environment.

Tahiti Islands Travel offers exclusivity through private tours and tailor-made experiences which are hand picked to offer the best that the Islands of Tahiti have to offer. “Tahiti Islands Travel are unique in their ability to facilitate everything! From connecting travelers with a small family run pearl farm, to booking luxury accommodations or chartering their own yacht with captain and crew,” says West.

Pacific Storytelling look forward to unveiling more preferred partners in the new year for other South Pacific Destinations and are open to hearing from suppliers who share their goal of contributing back to their local communities through tourism.

Pacific Storytelling also continues their work of offering free cultural sensitivity training, as well as developing educational resources and content with cultural leaders from across the region and the world.

Travel advisors can find out more about the training program at www.pacificstorytelling.com and sign up for their newsletter here. They can also connect with Pacific Storytelling on InstagramFacebook and LinkedIn.
