Oasis Travel Network Hosts First in Person Conference Since The Pandemic Began

OTN’s Annual Conference a Success; Co-located with Signatue Travel Network Conference in Las Vegas.

BOCA RATON, Fla. (Nov. 2021) – OASIS Travel Network—ASTA’s 2021 Host Agency of the Year—recently hosted their successful in-person annual conference at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event, which took place November 8-9, was the boutique host agency’s first in-person annual conference since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amongst the vibrant Las Vegas atmosphere, OTN members were welcomed back to once again network in-person with one another and supplier representatives through a Supplier Showcase. Members also took part in breakout sessions and had the opportunity to discover new products, along with gaining knowledge through education sessions and panels with top industry experts covering topics including increasing profitability and rekindling client interest in the new year.

“Gathering again in-person to do what we all do best and celebrate the power of travel was an exhilarating experience,” said Lee Smolinski, Chairman and CEO of OASIS Travel Network. “We’re proud to have been able to provide our members with immense value through the conference’s schedule of events andopportunities to strengthen old connections and build new ones as we move into a brighter 2022.”

The joyous gathering wrapped up with the presentation of OTN’s member awards and a special recognition for Kelly Bergin, former OASIS Travel Network President who recently stepped back from her role to form a new travel group in honor of the late Bob Duglin.

At the conclusion of the event, conference attendees were eager to express their excitement and appreciation.

“Seeing many fellow advisors and supplier partners in person for the first time since the pandemic was charged with relief and gratitude for those of us still standing after the last 18 months,” said Lauren Cardinale, CTA, Owner of Travel Design Co. “It really is a testament to the family that OASIS has created among us. They lined up the best partners in the business for inspiring panel discussions, product presentations and updates, one-on-one networking opportunities and facilitated challenging conversations between us advisors and our partners showing they really are a members-first host agency. I’m so thankful to be a part of the OTN family!”

In consideration of the travel needs and schedules of those in attendance, OTN’s Annual Conference was purposefully co-located with Signature Travel Network’s Annual Conference, which took place at the same location immediately following.
