Nexion Travel Group’s CoNexion 2023 Kicks Off at Sea

Host Agency Members Gather for Annual Conference Aboard the Celebrity Equinox

 

IRVING, TX (August 19, 2023) – Nexion Travel Group, the travel industry’s premier full-service host agency, kicked off its annual member conference CoNexion today aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Equinox. Taking place from August 19-27, 2023, the conference will sail from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. More than 520 attendees will spend the week learning, networking and exploring different ports of call.

 

Nexion Travel Group President Jackie Friedman, CTC, CTIE, opened the first General Session by sharing her overwhelming enthusiasm for what’s ahead. “The excitement and energy are high among our members as we kick off CoNexion,” Friedman noted. “The connections we make, and knowledge gained this week will pay dividends throughout the rest of the year.”

 

CoNexion is an exciting opportunity for the Nexion community to come together to interact with the host agency’s preferred supplier partners, staff and fellow travel advisors. The year’s event will include important presentations from Nexion executives and travel industry leaders, along with six General Sessions and 49 workshops, hourlong small-group classes on everything from marketing to supplier updates to the best ways to run a business. There will also be a trade show on Friday, August 25.

CoNexion 2023 will also feature Dondra Ritzenthaler as the keynote speaker. Formerly the Senior Vice President of Sales for Celebrity Cruises, Ritzenthaler retired earlier this year to pursue an encore career as a motivational speaker. Her CoNexion keynote is her first address in this new venture as she has always been a respected and staunch supporter of travel advisors.
