Nexion Travel Group Member Named ASTA River Cruise Advisor of the Year

Frisch Chosen for Her Commitment to and Success in Selling River Cruises

 

IRVING, TX (March 27, 2024) – Nexion Travel Group, the travel industry’s premier host travel agency in North America, is pleased to announce that one if its members, Diane Frisch, was honored at the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) River Cruise Expo as the River Cruise Advisor of the Year.

 

The River Cruise Advisor of the Year award, sponsored by AmaWaterways, was presented at ASTA’s River Cruise Expo, held this year from March 13-16 in Amsterdam. This annual award recognizes an ASTA member who is not only a top river cruise seller, but also an advocate for the concept of river cruising. Frisch is known for her sales among top river cruise lines, selling river cruise vacations all over the world. Under her guidance, her clients have experienced the rivers of Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and North America. She was chosen for River Cruise Advisor of the Year by unanimous vote of the committee.

As the River Cruise Advisor of the Year, Frisch was awarded a complimentary package to attend the 2025 ASTA River Cruise Expo in Vienna (now sold out). Award sponsor AmaWaterways will host her during the 2025 Expo and on one of their ships on a post-Expo sailing with AmaWaterways.

 

Frisch is the owner of Diane Frisch Destinations in The Colony, Texas. Her travel agency specializes in luxury travel for families, individuals and groups. In addition to her strong experience in river cruising, Frisco also has an active business selling customized European vacations, luxury group tours, romance travel, and small ship cruises.

 

Frisch is a longtime member of Nexion Travel Group, where she has been honored as the Nexion Ambassador in 2021, Nexion Social Pro in 2022 and Nexion Townie of the Year in 2018. She has achieved the Circle of Excellence designation numerous times, only given to the top-producing of Nexion’s thousands of members.
