Nexion Travel Group Announces 2019 Rising Star

Rosie Stermer honored for outstanding accomplishments while new to the travel industry

IRVING, TX (September 14, 2019)–Nexion Travel Group has named Rosie Stermer, owner of Pegasus Travel Advisors, LLC, as its 2019 Rising Star.

 

The Rising Star Award, announced at CoNexion 2019 at Universal Orlando, honors the Nexion Travel Group member who has shown significant potential for long-term success as a travel advisor while new to the industry.

 

Stermer joined Nexion Travel Group a year ago, at the same time she opened her travel consultancy, Pegasus Travel Advisors, LLC, based in Silverthorne, Colo. In that year, she actively pursued and completed numerous supplier certifications and attended Nexion Travel Group’s Agent Essentials and Groups educational events. She also participated in the NEXstart Lite program.

Before entering the travel industry, Stermer worked in business administration and consulting for over 20 years.  “I have always been fascinated by the travel industry,” Stermer commented. “I have a pilot’s license and grew up flying with my father. Becoming a travel advisor was a way to combine my love of travel with my business acumen. Joining Nexion Travel Group was a great decision.
