Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino Continues to Make Safety Its Top Priority

The Punta Cana hotel is temporarily closing due to travel restrictions

 

PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC ―March 19th, 2020 ― In an effort to ensure the health and safety of its guests, employees and the community, the Lopesan Hotel Group announced today that it will temporarily close the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana. The temporary closure will begin on Sunday, March 22, and remain in effect until further notice. Lopesan Hotel Group has been vigilantly monitoring coronavirus disease (COVID-19) developments and made the decision in accordance with the Dominican Republic’s preventative measures, including the recent restrictions on all non-essential travel.   

 

“Our hearts go out to those that have been affected by this outbreak,” said Jose Alba, commercial director of Lopesan Hotel Group. “We thank all the government and healthcare workers that are on the front lines and will continue to do our part by providing immense support for our guests and employees during this difficult time.” 

 

As Lopesan Costa Bávaro prepares for this temporary closure, it remains committed to providing high-quality guest service. The hotel and its staff have taken all recommended sanitary actions as outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Ministry of Public Health to preserve the health, safety and comfort of all individuals on the property. At present, none of the guests or employees at the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort have exhibited signs or symptoms of COVID-19. 

 

To accommodate those whose trips have been altered, Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort will be waiving all reservation change fees for travel through November 30, 2020. Guests with questions or concerns about their reservation can contact their travel agent, tour operator or call hotel reception at 809-221-8555.
