KORE Educational Program Launched

Oyster Bay, NY (March 24, 2022): American Marketing Group, parent company of TRAVELSAVERS and NEST, launched KORE, a new comprehensive training program at the Travel & Adventure Show in New York City this past weekend. The program is designed to recruit new talent to the industry, fully train them and set them on the path to become a successful Travel Advisor.

“The show brought close to 500 travel advisors on Friday searching for new ideas to help them grow their business, as well as 14,000 consumers and potential new travel consultants over the weekend,” said Steve Philips, Senior Director Education and Training for the American Marketing Group. “KORE was well received as an important tool to provide new entrants in the industry the tools they need to succeed in their travel careers.”

KORE CURRICULUM

KORE’S New To Travel Industry Training, consists of 16 modules and is 100% online. The curriculum includes: an overview of the industry and travel segments, industry players, basic financials, world geography, building a travel career and more. In addition, several modules focus on the art of selling, customer service, qualifying a client, niche travel, social media and communication, industry compliance and fraud, understanding travel insurance and more.

In addition to the online modules, there are also three digital textbooks and two correlated workbooks to aid the students, plus extensive online videos focused on real work experience. KORE is expected to take 14-18 weeks to complete with quizzes along the way culminating in a final Travel Agent Proficiency (TAP) proctored exam. Successful graduates of the course will be eligible for credits toward their CTA certification from the Travel Institute. The course is $895 for US Advisors and discounts are provided to member agencies of TRAVELSAVERS and NEST.

RESEARCH REVEALS KEY FINDINGS

Since late last year, KORE has been in beta test with select advisors from TRAVELSAVERS and NEST. All users found the self-paced online learning tool very convenient and easy to navigate. The review at the end of each module, as well as quizzes, are invaluable to ensure students completely understand the content ahead of their eventual final exam. Several suggestions from this trial period have already been implemented into the curriculum platform. “KORE is the solution to ensuring my advisors are properly trained,” said Heather DiPietro, CEO of Travel Sales Group in Mooresville, NC. “With this program, I’m 100% positive that my new advisors will be fully prepared for success.”

Plans are also underway to develop additional educational programs under the KORE brand. To find out more about KORE’s New To Travel Industry Training program, visit www.koretraveleducation.com or email:  info@koretraveleducation.com.
