KHM Travel Group Works with MPG Travel Solutions to Accelerate Success

Leading host travel agency plans for future growth with the help of experienced travel industry professionals

Brunswick, Ohio (August 1, 2018) – After a record-breaking year, KHM Travel Group has set its sights on the future with the help of one of the travel industry’s leading consulting firms MPG Travel Solutions. In a collaborative effort, the two companies will work together to strategize and develop a foundation for KHM Travel Group’s future.

MPG Travel Solutions, which is comprised of former tour operator executives–Ken Pomerantz, Mike Going and Terry Morrison, has already started to take an in-depth look at the current education, technology, and resources KHM Travel Group offers. Over the next several months, the firm will provide insight and recommendations in the areas of business planning, agency operations, and process improvement.

“KHM Travel Group is a very successful host agency organization that always focuses on the ability to deliver great results for its agents and suppliers while keeping an eye on the future. We see our relationship as one where MPG Travel Solutions can help articulate, accelerate, and implement the key strategies for long-term growth and success,” said Mike Going of MPG Travel Solutions.

In addition to meeting and collaborating with the KHM Travel Group team, MPG also attended KHM Travel Group’s annual Destination Success event to hear firsthand from agents. In between sessions, they talked to agent attendees about what they feel they need to be more efficient and reach their goals. These conversations will continue as MPG examines how those needs translate into new services or products that KHM Travel Group can offer.

“Change and adaptability are important concepts for our host agency. Our team is continually looking at how we can learn and grow in order to best serve our independent agents. Working with MPG Travel Solutions will help us ensure we are embracing the newest technology, developing new sales and customer service strategies, and most importantly devoting the time and care to our travel agents,” said KHM Travel Group President Rick Zimmerman.

KHM Travel Group’s relationship with MPG Travel Solutions is just one of the many investments KHM Travel Group has made to lay a foundation for future growth. This year marks one of the company’s best with awards from top travel partners including Travel Leaders Network President’s Award for U.S. Affiliate Agencies, Royal Caribbean’s Central Partner of the Year, and placement on Travel Weekly’sprestigious Power List.
