KHM Travel Group Starts 2026 with a Strong Focus on Education

Host travel agency launches first-ever virtual-only Boot Camp events

Brunswick, Ohio [January 28, 2026] – KHM Travel Group is kicking off 2026 with education, empowering travel agents with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. In January, the host agency held its first-ever virtual-only Boot Camp events, providing education without the need for attendees to travel.

Boot Camp 1.0 (January 23-25) was designed as a virtual, weekend event and drew 109 attendees tuning in from across the country. Boot Camp 2.0 (January 27-30), originally scheduled as an in-person event, pivoted to a virtual-only format due to widespread flight cancellations and travel disruptions caused by the recent winter storm.

“While we love the networking and energy that comes with an in-person event, moving to a virtual-only format allowed us to continue learning together in an interactive environment despite the weather challenges,” said Carolyn Orf, Education Manager. “This virtual experience made our educational content accessible to even more agents and offered opportunities for connecting through live chat and small group discussions.”

KHM Travel Group first introduced virtual options for events in 2023, expanding access for agents with busy schedules or other commitments who are unable to travel to Ohio. January’s events marked the company’s first fully virtual Boot Camps.

The results of Boot Camp participation continue to demonstrate the impact. Of agents who attended Boot Camp 1.0 in 2025, 74% currently have something on the books. Likewise, 67% of agents who completed Boot Camp 2.0 in 2025 are trending upward compared to 2024.

Beyond educational events, KHM Travel Group is expanding additional learning opportunities in 2026 with updated video learning modules and quizzes. The refreshed online lessons include all-inclusive essentials, booking air, river cruising, travel protection, and making the most of Travel Leaders Network’s resources.

KHM Travel Group’s next major event is its annual Crystal Conference, taking place on Norwegian Encore on February 21-28, 2026.
