Boston, MA, March 2017 – Scenic has announced the appointment of experienced cruise industry leader, Joelle Davis, to the newly-created position of Vice President of US Brand Management. In this role, Davis will oversee the US Brand Management team, and will be responsible for product marketing and pricing, digital marketing, competitive analysis, sales training, event management, lead development and creative services. Davis will be based out of Scenic’s Boston office and can be reached at Joelle.Davis@scenicusa.com.
“We are proud and excited to welcome Joelle to our team,” states Joni Rein, Scenic’s Vice President of US Sales and Marketing. “Her strong cruise travel and brand management background make her an ideal fit as Scenic continues to strengthen its brand proposition in the US market.” Davis comes to her new position with more than 22 years’ experience at Grand Circle Corporation, a small ship cruise and land travel company, where she grew her career working in finance, worldwide operations, marketing and brand management. During her tenure at Grand Circle, Davis helped lead the transformation of the company’s marketing program to a digitally focused strategy.
“I’m passionate about small ship and river cruising, and I’ve admired Scenic from afar since they came into the US market. To now be a part of this brand is very exciting” says Davis. “The commitment to delivering on their brand promise of a truly all-inclusive experience and unparalleled luxury offered on Scenic ships places them in a category of their own.”
Scenic offers award-winning, all-inclusive escorted tours in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas and elsewhere, while offering the same level of expertise and the only truly all-inclusive river cruises in Europe and the Mekong, Irrawaddy and Russia.
