Hilton Expands Presence in Argentina with Debut of Hilton Pilar in Greater Buenos Aires

 

 

November 8, 2018 BUENOS AIRES, Argentina and MCLEAN, Va.Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announces the opening of Hilton Pilar in Greater Buenos Aires – the company’s fourth hotel in Argentina and the second Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand’s property in the country. Forming part of the 432-acre Pilar Golf Club, the 171-room lively resort features a world-class spa, signature restaurant, two diverse bars and multiple pools, as well as access to the Pilar Golf sports areas including a 27-hole golf course, additional swimming pools, six tennis courts, two soccer fields and more.

Overlooking the renowned golf club on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Hilton Pilar’s bright and airy accommodations boast a contemporary design, with floor-to-ceiling windows and impressive abstract paintings. Guests staying in the Executive Rooms can enjoy views of the resort’s expansive golf course from their private terraces and balconies.

DINING

Travelers can discover a unique culinary experience curated by Executive Chef Emiliano Sabino at the resort’s signature restaurant and two bars. Inspired by Mediterranean flavors, Chef Sabino fuses Argentine tradition and classic Southern Italian cuisine at Leonforte restaurant, cooked in a wood-fired oven to accentuate its flavor and typical aromas. The stunningly designed lobby bar invites for a glass of wine or cocktail with pool and golf views, for gathering with friends or business meetings. The bar menu offers designer cocktails, classic drinks and a variety of wines including the delicious Argentine Malbec.

 

AMENITIES

Located in the heart of Pilar Golf Club, the hotel offers access to one of the country’s top courses. Designed by The Ronald Fream Plan Design Group, the club features a 27-hole golf course, with five tee-offs at each hole, bunkers, a driving range, a putting green and ample fairways. Through Pilar Golf Club, guests also have access to six tennis courts as well as a jogging track, multi-sport concrete court, and two soccer fields. For relaxation, travelers can take advantage of multiple swimming pools and the property’s world-class, two level eforea spa, which includes three whirlpools, saunas and several treatment rooms.

For business conferences and events, Hilton Pilar boasts 20,000 square feet of vibrant event space, including three ballrooms, nine breakout rooms and five terraces. In addition to catering, the hotel also offers an exclusive area for indoor and outdoor teambuilding activities.
