Helpful Resources on VAX for Advisors To Share With Their Clients

Explore destination-specific travel guides and downloadable packing lists designed to help your clients plan with ease—and make you look like a pro.

A site teeming with information, VAX VacationAccess houses a variety of resources for travel advisors, from editorial content on The Compass, a social media tool kit and detailed supplier pages to brand training, education links and an industry podcast. While some of these are designed specifically for an advisor’s individual use, others are created with the intention to be shared with clients. VAX’s commitment to providing new resources never ends, so come explore two new tools advisors can access to help go the extra mile for their clients and leave a lasting impression.

Guides

The travel advisor cheat code, these guides are comprehensive lists of various attractions, organized by specific criteria. One version of this resource is the Theme Park Guide. Advisors know about Universal, Disney and Six Flags, but what about Knott’s Berry Farm in California or Hersheypark in Pennsylvania? Take the inspiration outside of the U.S. and discover Xcaret Park in Riviera Maya and Scape Park Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. Not every client may want to visit the well-known theme parks, and this guide is sure to be a handy tool for advisors to find alternative suggestions in hotspot destinations.

Similarly, the Resort Waterpark Guide is perfect for users with family clients looking to have a splish-splashin’ good time at a waterpark. With recommendations in Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Bahamas and so many more, this page will guarantee fun in the sun at locations like Atlantis Paradise Island and Nickelodeon Riviera Maya.

On the topic of families, sometimes booking for groups larger than five can pose a real challenge for advisors. This last guide, All-Inclusive Resorts That Accommodate 5+, is designed specifically to help alleviate this problem, covering an array of accommodations to ensure each client’s trip needs are met.

These guides are located throughout VAX’s website, though primarily living under the “Destinations” tab. Users can select from “Caribbean,” “Mexico,” “Central America” or “U.S. Cities,” where the corresponding guides will be linked on the left-hand side in a navy-blue box.

Packing Lists

Amidst all the wonderful chaos that is prepping to leave for an exciting vacation, figuring out what to pack can be a stressful experience for many clients. What’s the weather going to be like? What if I want to add an activity that I don’t have an outfit for? Is there a dress code for some of these places on my itinerary? Advisors can help ease some of these stresses by providing clients with the Wanderlust Packing List. The one-sheet, downloadable guide is available for a variety of fan-favorite destinations, suggesting appropriate items for family trips, all-inclusive getaways, cruises and theme parks.

Advisors can find these packing lists under any applicable destination page. Not every location will have a relevant list, but the most popular destinations on VAX (Europe, Central America, the Caribbean and some U.S. cities) will have this resource. Additionally, under the “Reservations & Brands” tab on VAX, the lists can be found under the “Hotels & Resorts” and “Cruise” sections. Advisors can click the green box to access the link and have the option to save the file to their computer or print physical copies for their clients.

These packing lists were created by Wanderlust Social, a company specializing in marketing content for advisors. Visit their website for more travel related resources.
