Grupo Xcaret Announces Safety Measures as Tropical Storm Zeta Approaches

The company’s parks and tours will be closed on October 26 and 27.

 

Quintana Roo, Mexico, October 26, 2020.- After monitoring the development of Tropical Storm Zeta and in accordance with the recommendations issued by state authorities, Grupo Xcaret, the leading company in sustainable tourism recreation, announced the suspension of operations in its parks and tours on Monday, October 26, and Tuesday, October 27, in order to safeguard the welfare of its visitors and collaborators.

 

“We are following the development of the Tropical Storm Zeta as it has quickly gained traction and is headed towards Quintana Roo. For this reason, we decided to suspend the operation of our parks and tours for two days. Our main objective is to safeguard the well-being of our visitors, guests, members of Mexico Destination Club and collaborators. We want to thank everyone for their understanding and support as we implement these measures” said Lizeth Alvarez, Chief Commercial Officer at Grupo Xcaret.

 

For those who had planned to visit its parks and tours during these dates, the company is working on the best alternative for reservations affected during the passage of Tropical Storm Zeta including rescheduling their visit in accordance with the policies that Grupo Xcaret has implemented.

 

“We will continue to closely monitor the development of the tropical storm and will be sharing any updates through our official communication channels. We thank you again for your understanding and we reiterate our commitment to the safety of our visitors, guests, members of Mexico Destination Club and collaborators,” said Alvarez.

 

As for Hotel Xcaret Mexico, the hotel operates normally and has implemented all the necessary precautions to guarantee the safety of its guests. Weather permitting, Grupo Xcaret will resume its regular operation of parks and tours starting Wednesday, October 28.
