The latest issue of The Compass magazine is here, and the team at VAX VacationAccess (VAX) is talking about anything but the beach. An unexpected diversion from the industry’s bread and butter, this edition shines a light on select experiences travel advisors and their clients might be a little less familiar with as they’re far from the sandy shores and blissful blue waters of the popular vacation spots we all know and love. It’s a page turner, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Like every issue, the most recent installment of The Compass magazine also includes a handful of features written to help travel professionals grow their business, this time with a guide for creating video content, tips for getting more organized and advice for understanding the needs of aging travelers. Inspired by our time attending the TravelAbility Summit in sunny San Francisco last fall, the team also included a thought-provoking piece dedicated to helping advisors serve blind travelers — we even spoke to a blind advisor and a blind travel influencer to garner some of their top suggestions.
