Go Anywhere But the Beach With The Compass Magazine

Discover Unexpected Adventures, Business Tips & Inclusive Travel Insights in the Latest Edition of The Compass Magazine

Written By: Jenna Buege, Senior Editor for VAX VacationAccess

The latest issue of The Compass magazine is here, and the team at VAX VacationAccess (VAX) is talking about anything but the beach. An unexpected diversion from the industry’s bread and butter, this edition shines a light on select experiences travel advisors and their clients might be a little less familiar with as they’re far from the sandy shores and blissful blue waters of the popular vacation spots we all know and love. Inside, readers will discover bucket list-worthy destinations as they explore the lush scenery of the Peruvian Amazon, board a cruise ship bound for one of Scandinavia’s most peaceful places, pitch a decked-out canvas tent under the sparkling stars and so much more.

It’s a page turner, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Like every issue, the most recent installment of The Compass magazine also includes a handful of features written to help travel professionals grow their business, this time with a guide for creating video content, tips for getting more organized and advice for understanding the needs of aging travelers. Inspired by our time attending the TravelAbility Summit in sunny San Francisco last fall, the team also included a thought-provoking piece dedicated to helping advisors serve blind travelers — we even spoke to a blind advisor and a blind travel influencer to garner some of their top suggestions.

Eager to read the whole thing?

Registered advisors on VAX VacationAccess can find the full digital version of the print publication under “The Compass” dropdown in the site’s main navigation menu. From there, they can select “The Compass Magazine,” which opens a landing page highlighting the most recent issue, five featured stories, and a link to the full book they can read on their phone or computer.

Similarly, as advisors scroll further down on the page, they will find links to four of the most-recent issues of the magazine under a section labeled “Catch Previous Issues Here,” making it easy to stay caught up with their new favorite travel publication — or at least we hope it becomes one of your favorites!

If advisors spot a specific article in The Compass magazine that they want to share with their clients, they can do so by heading to The Compass on VAX — accessible from the main VAX navigation menu under “The Compass,” “The Compass on VAX” — and browsing standalone features that are also published to the website. To explore all available content from The Compass magazine on VAX, simply type “The Compass magazine” into the search bar and see what pops up.

Would you rather have a physical version of VAX’s quarterly print publication?

Advisors who want to experience the magic of The Compass magazine in person — and we think it’s pretty magical — can find VAX team members at industry events throughout the year, where our trade show booth always offers plenty of issues to take home. Registered VAX advisors can also join the magazine mailing list by visiting The Compass Magazine dropdown and scrolling to the bottom of the page to fill out the form.
