GIFTE Announces the Very First Travel Entrepreneurship Week

September 14th, 2016 – The Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs (GIFTE) is excited to announce the creation and celebration of the very first Travel Entrepreneurship Week, a virtual event continuing from Monday September 19th until Monday September 26th.

One of the main missions at GIFTE is to empower travel entrepreneurs and help them reemerge on the radar of the traveling public. In order to achieve this goal, travel agents have to start thinking and behaving like savvy entrepreneurs. Travel Entrepreneurship Week intends to give the travel entrepreneur the tools, resources, and information needed to be a successful entrepreneur with a thriving travel business.

The week will consist of two Facebook LIVE events on the GIFTE Facebook fan page every weekday with a new and relevant topic each day. The topics range from mindset, branding, strategic planning, and making good business decisions. GIFTE Founder Meredith Hill and EVP Vanessa McGovern will host a Facebook Live session each weekday at 12pm Eastern followed by a virtual interview with a featured travel entrepreneur at 3pm Eastern.

Sign up here to get notified about the live virtual Travel Entrepreneurship Week events, and follow along on social media with the hashtag #TEW2016.

The Global Institute for Travel Entrepreneurs was founded in 2011 by Meredith Hill in response to a desperate need for support, resources and tools for the committed travel consultant. As the fastest growing industry organization dedicated to marketing education for travel professionals, GIFTE’s mission is to revolutionize the way travel advisors market and grow their businesses. GIFTE’s products and programs provide all the tools, resources and support travel professionals need to reach a whole new level of success in travel – one that includes making more money while making a difference in the lives of their clients.
