G Adventures Expands Portfolio with 100+ New Trips for 2025 in Its Biggest Product Drive Yet

Expanded roster significantly increases community impact

with new product offerings across all style categories

G Adventures, the community tourism pioneer and small-group adventure operator, has launched over 100 new itineraries into its already massive lineup of worldwide adventures. With a focus on innovation, flexibility and culturally-rich experiences, the new trips span the globe and offer new destinations and one-of-a-kind adventures for every type of traveler. Highlights include new trips in the Balkans, Finland and Africa across G Adventures’ Local Living, Solo-ish, Geluxe, Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomething styles.

Yves Marceau, VP of product for G Adventures, notes that 2025 will be the company’s biggest new product drive yet. “Following on the heels of one of our largest growth years ever, this year we will be launching hundreds of new itineraries in both new destinations and old favorites,” said Marceau. “We are being very intentional about new product development, noting regions where our offerings can benefit from more flexibility as well as expansion into regions where we haven’t been in the past. As with all of our itineraries, our number one priority is supporting local communities, and we’re thrilled that our new offerings will expand that impact, while offering travellers some incredible new ways to explore our world.”

Highlights of the new trips being launched include:

More ways for more types of travelers to explore in Peru

Peru is a perennial favorite destination among travelers, and while hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu earns a deserved feather in the cap of the most adventurous of travelers, G Adventures understands that a multi-day hike to the ancient citadel isn’t for everyone. In response, G has revamped their ‘train to Machu Picchu’ options, where travelers can spend more time in the ancient Incan Capital of Cusco, meet local communities and glide through verdant valleys, local farmland and small villages by train to Aguas Calientes. G Adventures has also a one-day Inca Trail hike that can be tagged on to existing Peru itineraries, creating flexibility for those who want the best of both worlds, giving couples, families and groups the option to split up – depending on desire/activity level – and then reconnect at Machu Picchu.

  • Peru’s Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu By Train – For travelers who don’t want to miss Machu Picchu but also don’t want to trek, this seven-day itinerary offers more time to soak up the magic of Cusco and its breathtaking surroundings, wander the Sacred Valley, visit the Planeterra-supported Ccaccaccollo Community and Women’s Weaving Co-op and explore the circular terraces of Moray and the ancient Maras Salt Mines. A relaxing train journey to see Machu Picchu means travelers don’t have to sacrifice anything! From $999 USD pp.

Solo, but not alone

G Adventures has also added new destinations to the recently-launched Solo-ish style of trips, designed to appeal to travelers who have a desire to go at it alone, but also crave connection, camaraderie and the benefit of a local’s knowledge as they travel. New Solo-ish trips include:

  • Solo-ish Uzbekistan – Uzbekistan is a cultural crossroads brimming with rich history, vibrant bazaars, and jaw-dropping architecture that feels straight out of a storybook. This 12-day adventure brings travelers through historic cities, introduces them to mouthwatering local dishes, and immerses them into Uzbek culture, known for its music, dance and art. From $2,099 USD pp.

  • Solo-ish Cambodia – This 10-day trip reimagines one of G Adventures’ most popular Classic style trips, but for solo travelers. Solo-ish Cambodia explores the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, includes a trek through the lush jungles of the Cardamom Mountains and invites travelers to dive into the turquoise waters of Koh Rong. From $1,349 USD pp.

Winter is so hot right now – new cold weather adventures

Cold-weather tourism is having a moment, and G Adventures has added several new itineraries that revolve around that invigorating chill in the air. From dogsledding in Finland to Christmas markets in Poland to snowshoeing in Japan, these trips not only bring travelers out into the elements, but also incorporate the destination’s cultural connection to nature. Example trips include:

  • Winter in Finland: Lapland and Northern Lights – This seven-day adventure through Lapland celebrates the beauty of winter. An overnight train brings travelers from Helsinki north to Rovaniemi where the adventure begins. Scan the sky for the northern lights from the warmth of a tent, glide through snowy trails on a husky-pulled sleigh, meet Indigenous herders, learning their age-old traditions and daily life with reindeer. From $2,999 USD pp.

  • Active Northern Japan: Winter in Hokkaido – Starting in Tokyo and ending in Sapporo, this nine-day Active adventure includes a snowshoe adventure through the breathtaking Shiretoko Five Lakes and Primeval Forest, a visit with the Ainu Kotan, one of Japan’s last Indigenous communities and an overnight stay in a traditional onsen. From $4,399 USD pp.
