This year G Adventures annual G-Normous agent incentive was the biggest yet, honoring and thanking our travel heroes for their perseverance, dedication and hard work. Over $75K in cash and prizes were distributed to dozens of travel advisors throughout the four-month-long (January through April) program.
For this year’s incentive, G Adventures each month spotlighted a different destination, offering agents exclusive discounts for their clients, informational sessions, fun community challenges and of course prizes: free trips, cash and swag. Along with monthly prizes for top sellers, G-Normous awarded the overall grand prize of $5k USD to Carly H from Georgia and $1.5k to runner-up Rachel B from Idaho.
While the travel landscape looks a bit different now than when G Adventures introduced the incentive program nine years ago, it’s clear that the industry needs travel advisors now more than ever to help navigate the new (and ever changing!) normal.
“We wanted this year’s G-Normous to be the biggest and most fun one yet,” said Jenn Stevens, US trade marketing manager for G Adventures. “We know how challenging it has been over the past few years for travel advisors, so we wanted to show them how grateful and appreciative we are of their hard work. They truly are heroes when it comes to rebuilding the industry!
When travel advisors book their clients on a G Adventures trip, they are actively contributing to positive change,” said Stevens. “G Adventures’ brand of community tourism was created to change people’s lives for good in the communities we visit, while giving our travelers the time of their lives.”
