G Adventures Announces 2021 G-Normous Agent Incentive

Cash prizes, giveaways and more up for grabs during

four-month agent incentive program

Small group adventure operator, G Adventures, is bringing back its iconic G-Normous agent incentive program for the eighth consecutive year. Launching on January 1, 2021 and spanning a four month period, the popular annual program is even more G-Normous this year, with an expanded reach to involve agents worldwide with regional cash prizes, a $3,000 grand prize jackpot, giveaways and more.

Even though it took place during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s G-Normous campaign surpassed regional sales targets in North America with first-time agents comprising one of the largest booking segments. In 2021, with travelers itching to get their passports back in action, G-Normous 8.0 has been designed to support agents in every way possible.

“We’re especially excited about G-Normous this year as we look forward to getting travelers back out on the road. Despite the odds, last year’s G-Normous was incredibly successful, thanks to the hard-working and driven travel advisor community,” says Jenn Stevens, US trade marketing manager.

“G-Normous 8.0 is our biggest and best incentive program yet, and we can’t wait to reward agents for their unwavering support over the course of 2020.”

As in past years, G Adventures will arm agents with selling incentives including cash prizes and a series of consumer offers designed to entice travelers to book, starting with January’s “The Great Adventure Sale” which offers up to 30% off on select trips for departures through March 2022. At the end of the four-month program, the top-selling American agent will receive the $3,000 G-Normous jackpot. See gadventures.com/gnormous for a full description of prizes and consumer offers.

New for this year, G Adventures has partnered with select tourism boards to highlight specific destinations throughout the promotion, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand and ProColombia.

All agents with a G Adventures Sherpa account are automatically registered. Agents without a Sherpa account must register through their agency manager at www.gadventures.com/agents/register/.

Regardless of travel date, agents will receive an entry for every client booked on a G Adventures tour from January 1 to April 30, 2021. Check in for weekly leaderboards on the agent facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/usagentsofchange to find out who is in the lead for the top prizes.

Agents will also have the opportunity to see the positive impact that travel can have on local communities when done in the right way, while having the adventure of a lifetime, as G Adventures relaunches its agent discount program, offering up to 50% off G Adventures trips to preferred partner agents.
