Guests booking any 2021-2022 Mekong River cruise and tour itinerary of 13 days or longer will receive their choice of $2,000 savings per couple or free, round trip air to Asia. Travelers wishing to explore the Mekong River onboard the Emerald Harmony can choose from one of four itineraries ranging from eight to an epic 21 days, each designed to allow guests to discover a fascinating way of life, sample regional cuisine and learn about a culture rooted in agriculture and a warm community spirit. The longer itineraries feature time on land to explore iconic locations in Cambodia and Vietnam such as the famous temple complex at Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, the bustling capital city of Hanoi, and the breathtaking Halong Bay. Those looking to further explore Asia can opt for a four day land extension to the ancient city of Luang Prabang in Laos, or a three day extension to remote Sa Pa, nestled in the Hoàng Liên Son Mountains of northwestern Vietnam.
No matter which itinerary guests opt for, they will pay a visit to the busy metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, a city that continues to modernize while maintaining traditional roots. The Emerald Harmony’s clever design allows it to sail to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, meaning guests will disembark in the center of the action rather than needing to be coached in from outside the city as they would with many similarly sized ships.
