Experience the Caribbean Onboard Emerald Cruises’ Intimate 100 Passenger Yachts

Experience the Caribbean Onboard Emerald Cruises’ Intimate 100 Passenger Yachts

Book by September 30 to receive complimentary extended drinks package on all 2023-24 bookings

Hollywood, FL (September 2022) – Emerald Cruises recently announced that their 100 passenger, oceangoing yachts Emerald Azzurra and soon-to-launch Emerald Sakara will spend the 2023 and 2024 winter seasons in the warm waters of the Caribbean and Central America. Emerald Cruises’ intimate yachts are an ideal way to visit this part of the world for travelers wanting to experience multiple islands in a luxury setting.

To sweeten the deal, Emerald Cruises is offering guests a complimentary premium drinks package on all new bookings of a 2023 or 2024 Caribbean or Central American sailing when booked by September 30, 2022. The premium drinks package allows guests to order drinks from the bar at any time—whether a piña colada to sip poolside or a glass of champagne to enjoy while watching the sun set over the sea. The premium drinks package represents a value of $114 per couple, per day. Guests booking a 2023 departure will also receive up to 20% off the cost of the sailing when paying in full 12 months in advance of departure.

Ten distinct itineraries in this beautiful region range from eight to 19 days and will take guests to picture-perfect islands in the Grenadines, Virgin Islands, and West Indies, as well as ports in Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia. The eight-day British Virgin Islands & French West Indies sailing round trip out of St. John’s, Antigua will have guests feeling as though they’re on a private yacht charter with ports of call in some of the Caribbean’s best hidden gems. Norman Island, a 600-acre private island located at the southern tip of the BVI, is a draw for yachters with its excellent snorkeling and intriguing pirate history. In fact, Norman Island is reputed to have served as the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island. Other ports of call on this seven-night sojourn include Virgin Gorda and Jost van Dyke, home to the famous Painkiller cocktail.

Equally compelling is the eight-day Eastern Caribbean & St. Barts sailing from Marigot in St. Martin to Bridgetown, Barbados. Charming, French-influenced port towns like Sainte-Pierre in Martinique and Terre-de-Haute in Îles de Saintes, Guadeloupe call to mind the South of France with their European culture and distinctly Caribbean landscapes. Soufriére on St. Lucia is located in the crater of a long dormant volcano, so visitors can enjoy hot springs, botanical gardens and waterfalls all in one locale. Gustavia on chic St. Barths is a picturesque town dotted with colorful houses surrounding pristine beaches.

A first for yacht cruising, Emerald Azzurra features just 50 luxuriously appointed suites, more than 88 per cent of them with balconies, with more space per guest than similar vessels of her size. The yacht also features a large infinity pool, spa with infrared sauna, gym and marina platform complete with SEABOBs, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment available for guests to enjoy. A fleet of the very latest in electronic bikes from Gocycle are also available on board, ideal for local village trips and active explorations.

Emerald Cruises offers a diverse lineup of river and yacht cruises on three continents. Emerald Azzurra, the line’s first ocean-going vessel which debuted in March 2022, is a 100-guest, luxury yacht sailing the warm waters of the Mediterranean and the Adriatic. Emerald Sakara will be the brand’s second luxury yacht and launches in 2023. On the rivers, Emerald Cruises sails eight branded Star-Ships in Europe and one on the Mekong. The brand offers contemporary deluxe ships, outstanding service and a focus on active shore excursions and onboard wellness offerings through their signature EmeraldACTIVE program. Emerald Cruises is part of Scenic Group, which includes Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Mayflower Cruises & Tours and Evergreen Tours in Australia.
