ETS Tours Announces Executive Departure of President Joseph Cavarra

LAKELAND, FL – (March 31, 2022) – Travel industry veteran and President of ETS Tours, Joseph Cavarra, announced his retirement effective April 15, 2022. Cavarra has served as president for the EO Group’s ETS Tours brand for the past 12 years while additionally overseeing development of the comprehensive cruise program for EO Group overall.

“Strong Leadership, focus, integrity, passion, collaboration, and charisma define Joe,” said EO Group CEO James Ridgeway. “It’s these traits that have helped built such great bond with our industry partners, clients, and internal team. While we are sad to see him go, we wish him the very best and are grateful that Joe leaves us with a solid team and a clear plan for navigating the bounce back of travel.”

Cavarra joined the EO Group family of brands in 2010, having enjoyed a distinguished travel industry career spanning more than 50 years where he held executive roles with such world-class brands as Alitalia and Costa Cruises. Throughout his career, he has been recognized by the industry receiving many awards and serving as speaker and expert panelist at countless conferences.

“I am extremely proud, not only of the relationships and the team that we have built over my tenure with ETS Tours, but also of the immense success we have seen in the expansion of the company and ETS Tours’ stature as a leader in the faith-based travel marketplace. I am thrilled to have worked with such wonderful people in this amazing industry since my start in the travel industry back in 1969 and am now looking forward to exploring even more of the world at leisure with family.”
