Enhanced Agency BI Tool Expands ARC’s Data Analytics Platform

Travel Agencies Benefit from Accelerated Processing and Expanded Data Horizons

LEESBURG, Va. – Oct. 3, 2019 Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) announced today it has incorporated the latest version of Agency BI onto its new data analytics platform introduced in July. Similar to Airline BI, the enhanced Agency BI is built on ARC’s cloud-based architecture allowing users to process larger volumes of critical data faster. The announcement was made during ARC TravelConnect, the company’s annual industry conference, taking place through Oct. 4 at the Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Leesburg, Virginia.

Agency BI provides travel agencies with a consolidated view of their airline ticketing data and the ability to benchmark against other like-agencies to compare and measure performance. The product also assists agencies in preparing for and communicating the value they bring to airlines and supports on-going management by measuring goals set by suppliers.

The enhanced Agency BI brings the following new features:

  • Cloud-based platform and data with greater granularity provides powerful analytics and appealing visualizations to aid in actionable decision-making

  • Ability to view forward-looking and daily data with up to three years of historical information

  • Increased flexibility in views across agency branches and multiple peer groups enabling better competitive analysis and benchmarking

  • Both dates of departure and issuance for all transactions provide metrics to analyze both performance and booking trends

“Expanding ARC’s new analytics platform to travel agencies is another step in delivering on our promise to provide the flexible, powerful and dependable tools that our customers need to run their businesses,” said Arun Gupta, ARC’s managing director of product management. “This platform now offers two enhanced business intelligence tools, supporting travel agencies and airlines as each community progresses toward omnichannel content distribution and retailing.”
