Emma Herrick Joins G Adventures as New Global Purpose Specialist for the U.S. Northwest

November 12, 2025 – G Adventures, the community tourism pioneer, is thrilled to introduce Emma Herrick as the global tour operator’s new Global Purpose Specialist (GPS), covering the Northwestern US territory. Covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, Emma brings a wealth of international experience and a passion for purposeful travel to her new role supporting agents and industry partners, and building and maintaining new industry connections, in the US Northwest.

Emma’s background spans almost a decade in the travel industry, most recently as the Marketing Manager for EF Tours, handling their Gap Year and Study Abroad division. Prior to that, she has held roles in marketing and sales, focusing on experiential travel and education.

Travel has always played a major role in her life, growing up in London and participating in study abroad programs in Switzerland, Greece, and Australia. Her personal travel portfolio spans solo expeditions across Europe and Latin America, providing her with firsthand insight into the transformative power of travel experiences.

“We are so excited to have Emma join the GPS team,” said Jeremy Brady, director of sales for USA and Latin America. “Her background, both professional and personal, makes her an ideal match for G’s unique brand of travel. More than just a travel company, we understand the power that travel has to change lives. Emma’s wealth of knowledge in the transformational travel space, along with her infectious positivity and passion for travel, will allow her to hit the ground running.”

In her spare time, Emma is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys surfing, hiking, biking – basically anything that gets her outside and moving.

“I’ve long admired G Adventures and their dedication to community tourism, equity and passion to change the world through travel,” said Herrick. “I’m so excited to now be representing those values and can’t wait to start talking to agents about G and what we have in store for 2026!”

About G Adventures

G Adventures isn’t just a travel company — we’re a community committed to changing lives through travel. Since 1990, when social entrepreneur Bruce Poon Tip set out to transform the way people see the world, we’ve been leading the charge in community tourism and small-group adventures. With more than 900 life-changing trips across 100+ countries and all seven continents, we help travelers connect deeply with the people, cultures, landscapes, and wildlife that make each place so unforgettable — all while having the time of their lives.

But it doesn’t stop there. Because for us, travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how you give back while you’re there.  Our ‘G for Good’ social impact initiatives ensure every trip does just that. In 2018, we launched the industry-first Ripple Score™ to track how much of our travelers’ money stays in the local economy (we’re proud to average 92% across our trips). Together with our non-profit partner, Planeterra, we also help power over 130 community tourism projects across the world. And through our Trees for Days initiative, we’ve planted over 3 million trees (and growing), one for every day a traveler spends on a G Adventures trip, helping both communities and the planet thrive.

At G Adventures, we believe travel should change the world — not just for the traveler but for everyone they meet along the way. Our one-of-a-kind culture fuels a global community that transcends borders, builds connection, and spreads joy, curiosity and humanity wherever it goes. Because we’re not just about seeing the world. We’re about making it better, together.
