Dugan’s University Signature Annual Event

 

Anaheim, California was once again the destination for Dugan’s Travel’s annual training event, Dugan’s University Anaheim. The event combined a 3-day cruise followed by four days of valuable presentations and training for travel agents who are part of the Dugan’s Travels family. Both the cruise and presentations were voluntary for all Dugan’s Travels agents. They could choose to attend one or both.

 

On February 18, 2022, those agents who opted to take the cruise departed on the Navigator of the Seas cruise liner from Los Angeles and returned early on February 21, 2022. The cruise ship docked at Ensenada, Mexico for 10 hours on February 20, 2022. Family and friends were welcome to join the travel agents on the cruise.  

 

The training event is the cornerstone of Dugan’s University. Travel agents received valuable updates on the business, met suppliers and industry representatives, and interacted with fellow agents from around the country. New and experienced agents alike benefited from this relationship-building forum. 

 

 

About Dugan’s Travels

Dugan’s Travels is a travel host agency with 400 independent contractor agents located across the United States. Dugan’s Travels is headquartered in Bremerton, Washington, having recently moved from Los Alamos, NM. All agents work virtually and are also located across the United States. 

 

Owner of the travel agency is Jennifer Dugan. She started the agency in 1997 with a passion for travel but also a love for her family. One such tool is their Mentorship Program, where agents can receive education and direct help with business-building and business support tasks via small-group web meetings and one-on-one chats. They also have access to the company’s programs, SmartAgency and Agentmate.

 

The agency further provides their family of agents with their custom learning management system, MyDuOnline.  The modules are available on-demand to allow agents to access them at the times that are most convenient to them so that they can schedule their learning around family activities.  

 

Since its inception, Dugan’s Travels has grown to almost 400 independent agents nationwide. No matter where they are located, agents can take advantage of online technology to learn about and run their business. They can be fully functional with all the online tools and support that Dugan’s Travels provides.
