Cruise Planners Unveils New Romance Travel Specialist Training for Agents

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – August 9, 2022 – When it comes to love and romance, Cruise Planners travel advisors are experts and have booked countless anniversary, honeymoon and celebratory vacations over the years. To help our network grow this profitable niche, Cruise Planners is excited to offer the Romance Travel Specialist Certification to their network of 2,500 advisors across the U.S. This was created from a partnership with Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA), the industry’s leading experts on romance travel.

  • Travel Insurance Specialist
  • Social Media Specialist

“We know that continuing education is a big part of the success of our agents, so we are always looking for opportunities to enrich and further their knowledge,” said Michelle Fee, CEO and founder of Cruise Planners. “We help make a lot of dreams come true, and this will only enhance that.”

Leading the training is travel veteran Lisa Sheldon, who is the President and co-founder of DWHSA. The Romance Travel Specialist training course will include information on honeymoons, vow renewals, anniversaries, babymoons and help agents answer questions such as, “Who are your romance clients?” and “How do you reach them?”. It will also offer insight on how to utilize Cruise Planners marketing and segmentation tools to help facilitate these bookings.

“Education is a necessary component to do your job well if you are in the travel industry,” says Sheldon. “Today’s clients are smarter travelers and they have more information at their fingertips than any time before. Continuing to increase your knowledge to enhance your career will help you succeed in the ever-changing travel industry.”

Cruise Planners Specialist Training Programs feature guided, virtual trainings designed to help CP Advisors stand out among the competition while offering an elevated level of service to clients. Advisors will receive a certificate of completion as well as a badge they can include in their email signature to let clients know they are certified romance travel specialists and ready to help lovers expertly book their next getaway.
