Contiki Creates The Most Festive Hotel Room Ever For Travelers in New Sweepstakes

Dec. 6, 2022 – Hopfgarten, Austria: Contiki, the social travel company for 18-35s, has announced plans to create the world’s most Christmassy room at its exclusive Austrian Gasthof. Travelers looking to get into the holiday spirit can expect unlimited Christmas drinks, a personal elf helper/ski-instructor, and the smell of pine-scented pillows when they rest their heads each night. But there’s a catch. Contiki say they’re only accepting guests who can prove they’re festive.

We feel for all those Festive travelers out there who probably couldn’t be their extra elfish selves last Christmas. So we thought we’d create a space for them to be together in a real winter wonderland in the Austrian Tyrol. Contiki say that guests who prove themselves to be Festive, by being nominated by friends and passing a challenging quiz, could get to enjoy:

• An in-room snow machine
• A personal ‘peak Christmas’ Elf Ski instructor
• Unlimited mulled wine, eggnog, or hot chocolate
• A rotation of holiday classics on the TV, including Love Actually, Home Alone, Elf, and a Muppets Christmas Carol
• To get woken up each day by Mariah’s high notes and go to sleep on pine-scented pillows to the dulcet tones of Wham’s Last Christmas
• A day-to-day itinerary provided in Advent Calendar form
• The biggest Christmas tree the room will fit

 

Contiki say that anyone who thinks they’re extra Festive should sign up as soon as possible to find out more about visiting the gasthof, which is a real life Winter Wonderland throughout January.
