CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award 2024: Your Chance to Choose the Best Tourism Video

Videos from 23 countries participate in the online voting competition open from October 1st to 18th

 

Vienna, October 1st, 2024 – The CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award is back for its seventh edition, celebrating the best tourism video chosen by the global audience. The online competition showcases 66 captivating films from 23 countries and encourages the public to vote for their favorites. Voting is officially open from October 1st to October 18th at www.cifft.com.

 

The competition, organized by the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), showcases innovative productions by tourism brands and creative agencies worldwide, offering a glimpse into the diverse world of tourism marketing. All 66 videos are also competing in the CIFFT Circuit 2024, a global competition that will define the World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year. Over the years, the CIFFT “People’s Choice” Award competition has garnered impressive participation, with over 350,000 votes cast from 150 countries. Past editions have seen productions from Greece (2018), Azerbaijan (2019), Spain (2020), Portugal (2021), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2022), and Portugal again (2023) emerge as winners, securing the public’s top choice position.

Voting is simple. This competition is limited to just one vote per day, per IP address or browser session. The winner will be announced on the CIFFT website and social media on October 18th, immediately after the votes are counted. The public’s top choice will also earn a place at the World Tourism Film Awards gala in Valencia, Spain, to receive their trophy.
