CCRA Celebrates 50th Anniversary Milestone with a 43 Percent Surge in New TRUE Memberships and a Look Ahead to 2025

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (December 4, 2024) – As CCRA Travel Commerce Network wraps up its 50th anniversary year, the company is proud to announce a remarkable 43 percent year-over-year increase in new TRUE Membership sign-ups for Q3 2024, compared to the same period in 2023. With robust growth in its Membership Division and continued success across all sectors, CCRA reflects on a landmark year of innovation, education, and celebration.

“This has been an extraordinary year for CCRA as we celebrated five decades of empowering travel professionals,” said Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA. “Each of our divisions – Call Center, Air Services, Membership with TRUE, and our Hotel Services in partnership with ABC Global Services – has achieved significant milestones. TRUE Membership, in particular, has soared, reflecting our commitment to supporting advisors with the tools, training, and independence they need to thrive.”

A Year of Innovation and Education

This year, CCRA introduced several groundbreaking initiatives aimed at empowering travel advisors:

TRUE Advantage Mentorship Program: This personalized mentorship platform fosters 1:1 connections between suppliers and TRUE Accredited Advisors, emphasizing training and relationship building over traditional marketing efforts.

Strategic Partnership with The Travel Institute: Advisors now earn continuing education credits (CEUs) for participating in CCRA’s PowerSolutions LIVE events, advancing their professional credentials.

Expanded TRUE Chapters and Connect Network Membership: Advisors gained access to 17 local chapters nationwide and new membership options, providing training, networking, and collaboration opportunities.

Enhanced “Demystifying TRUE” Webinars: Monthly sessions hosted by Holly Carrig-Matthews and Irene Pasquesi deliver essential insights into the benefits of independent accreditation.

These initiatives, paired with an unwavering focus on professional development, have positioned CCRA as a leading force in the travel industry, with Q4 expected to deliver even greater results.

Looking Ahead to 2025: PowerSolutions LIVE Boston

CCRA is thrilled to announce PowerSolutions LIVE Boston, scheduled for May 8, 2025, at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza. This highly anticipated event will feature dynamic supplier training, networking opportunities, and a lively panel discussion showcasing the impact of AI on the travel industry.

Strong supplier support underscores the event’s significance, with confirmed participants including Globus, Delta Vacations, Virgin Voyages, Carey, Grupo Posadas, and the tourism boards of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and Florida.

“PowerSolutions LIVE events are where advisors and suppliers come together to create meaningful, impactful relationships,” said Peter Pincus, CTC, Chief Commercial Officer of CCRA. “Boston will be no exception, offering unmatched opportunities to engage with industry leaders and gain insights that will shape the future of travel.”

These events are also now listed as CEU-approved travel programs on The Travel Institute website, making them even more attractive to advisors looking to fulfill their education requirements while gaining valuable industry insights.

CCRA’s PowerSolutions LIVE events are offered on a complimentary basis for travel advisors of all experience levels who are members of TRUE, ARC, IATA, CLIA, and ASTA. Advisors are encouraged to register early to secure their spot at these high-demand events. For event details and registration, visit https://www.ccra.com/powersolutions/.
