Barceló Hotel Group Properties Honored with 2019 Golden Apple Award

MIAMI (SEPTEMBER 11, 2019) – Barceló Hotel Group is excited to announce that eight of its all- inclusive resorts in Mexico, along with one in the Dominican Republic, have received the 2019 Golden Apple Award from Apple Vacations at the Golden Apple Gala in Chicago on Sept. 9, 2019.

The Apple Vacations Golden Apple Gala was held at Chicago’s Theatre on the Lake where thehonorees enjoyed dinner and a firework show over Chicago’s magnificent lakefront. Also singled out at the gala was Barceló Maya Palace, which earned the coveted Crystal Apple Award for Best All-Inclusive Family Resort.

 

In 1990, Apple Vacations began honoring hotels that earned exceptional ratings on their post- vacation surveys with the Golden Apple Awards and it was the first (and remains the only) vacation company to rate hotels based solely on customer feedback. In 2019, Apple Vacations awarded 229 hotels throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Hawaii with its Golden Apple Award for high levels of excellence. Travel agents report that the Golden Apple designation builds consumer confidence and has a major influence on hotel purchase decisions.
