ARC CIO Dickie Oliver Included as Panelist at UATP’s Distribution Conference

Oliver to Discuss Applications for Blockchain in the Travel Industry

 

ARLINGTON, Va. – March 19, 2019 – Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) Vice President and Chief Information Officer Dickie Oliver will join a panel of industry experts to discuss the technology revolution taking place in the travel industry at Universal Air Travel Plan’s (UATP) Airline Distribution 2019 conference in Miami, Fla., March 19-21. The panel will occur March 20 at 3:45 p.m. ET.

 

Oliver will join Steve Glenn, chairman of the board and CEO of Executive Travel, Inc., and Sondra Feinberg, sales director for Forter, for the panel titled, “Technology Revolution.” Philip Ziegler, chief technology officer for UATP, will act as moderator. The group plans to discuss a variety of topics including artificial intelligence and machine-learning as well as ARC’s work in the blockchain space.

 

UATP’s Airline Distribution 2019 conference will also feature a keynote address from author Mark Twight, a session on New Distribution Capability and a variety of other educational sessions.
