Calabasas, CA, March 2025As U.S travelers continue looking to Egypt as a bucket-list destination, award-winning river cruise line AmaWaterways announced a new offer for its Egypt river cruise and land programs. Guests booking these select journeys can also choose Premium Air upgrades for $1,999 and Business Class upgrades for $2,999 per person*. This offer is available for departures from most US gateways (refer to terms for complete gateway eligibility).

“Egypt has always held a special place in the hearts of travelers, and we’re thrilled to make experiencing its ancient wonders even more accessible,” said Kristin Karst, co-founder and chief brand ambassador at AmaWaterways. “I just returned from a cruise on AmaLilia, and I was truly amazed by our incredible crew, the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our guests, and the mesmerizing experience of exploring Egypt in such an intimate setting. With complimentary roundtrip airfare and two beautiful ships now sailing the Nile, there’s no better time to experience the magic of Egypt with AmaWaterways.”

AmaWaterways offers an intimate and luxurious experience on the Nile with its two ships, AmaLilia and AmaDahlia. Both vessels provide a unique blend of comfort and luxury amenities, featuring locally inspired décor and gourmet cuisine. AmaLilia, the line’s newest ship on the Nile, boasts 41 staterooms, including 13 spacious suites with panoramic views of the river, while AmaDahlia offers 36 staterooms, including 16 suites ranging from 370 to 430 sq. ft. Onboard amenities include sun deck bars, swimming pools, fitness rooms, and hair and nail salons.

Both ships sail the 11-night Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary, which combines a seven-night round-trip river cruise from Luxor and a luxury hotel stay in Cairo – three nights before the cruise and one night after – at the St. Regis Cairo when sailing on AmaLilia or The Ritz-Carlton Cairo when sailing on AmaDahlia.  The itinerary also includes intra-Egypt flights between Cairo and Luxor, providing guests with seamless travel and the opportunity to explore Egypt’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. Guests are treated to nightly entertainment on the ship and daily guided excursions led by expert Egyptologists to ancient sites like the Temple of Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, as well as to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of never-before-seen artifacts. Guests will have access to 12 rooms of the collection through July 3, 2025 when the museum fully opens as the world’s largest archaeological museum.

AmaLilia and AmaDahlia cruise this itinerary seasonally from September through June.
