NEW YORK, NY, November 22, 2021 – Air France is expanding its flight schedule to leisure destinations this winter with the introduction of two North American routes to the Caribbean.
Starting November 23, 2021, travelers can fly from YUL-Montreal and JFK-New York to Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe. An archipelago located in the southern Caribbean Sea, Guadeloupe is made up of five islands, with the main two geographically resembling a butterfly. Reopened to vaccinated U.S. visitors on June 11th, Guadeloupe is known for its wide selection of activities which include hiking up the Soufriere Volcano, diving, island hopping or sunbathing on its beautiful pristine beach shores.
Travelers from the North American region can now escape to this destination during the cold winter season with the following schedules:
Air France’s Guadeloupe to Montreal flight (Starting November 23, 2021)
Air France will fly once a week between Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP), Guadeloupe, and Montreal (YUL), with the following schedule:
The week of December 6, 2021, Air France will add a second weekly flight to the route with the following schedule:
Air France’s Guadeloupe to New York flight (Starting November 24, 2021)
Air France will fly twice weekly between Pointe-à-Pitre (PTP), Guadeloupe, and New York (JFK), with the following schedule:
Both routes will be operated by Air France’s Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with Business and Economy cabins. With 168 seats, those who opt for a business cabin will get to experience elevated service, including a dedicated catering service, access to business class lounges, and other amenities. Middle seats in business class are also blocked for extra comfort.

Fully modifiable and refundable tickets until 30 June 2022
As part of its commercial policy, Air France is currently offering fully modifiable tickets for travel until 30 June 2022 for rickets purchased on or before 31 January 2022. Customers can modify1 their reservation free of charge or request a refundable credit voucher2 if they no longer wish to travel.
The health and well-being of Air France customers and staff are at the heart of the company’s concerns. Air France is committed to providing its customers optimum health and hygiene conditions at each stage of their trip, upon arrival at the airport. On board the aircraft and throughout the duration of the trip, it is compulsory to wear a surgical mask. The air in the cabin is renewed every 3 minutes. The air recycling system on board Air France aircraft is equipped with HEPA – High Efficiency Particulate Air – filters, identical to those used in hospital operating rooms. Air France has also reinforced aircraft cleaning procedures, notably with the disinfection of all surfaces in contact with customers such as armrests, tray tables and screens before each flight.
1 Modifications – possibility of changing the date and/or destination of your ticket regardless of the fare conditions until the day of departure of the 1st flight. If the price of the new ticket is higher, the fare difference will be charged to the customer.
2 Refunds – possibility of requesting a ticket refund up to the day of departure of the 1st flight. If the fare conditions of your ticket do not allow a refund, a credit voucher valid for one year will be issued, the refund of which can be requested at any time.
